The rest of this site tells of David Martin's travels while I lived in Uzbekistan. I first came to Tashkent, Uzbekistan for a two week visit in November, 2002 A month later I returned for what I expected to be a two year assignment working with economic think tanks. I ended up staying for five years and visited many places in central and eastern Asia. Now that I go back and look, I see that there are not enough pictures of my friends and every day life in Tashkent. I will try to do better!

At the bottom of this page is a link to take you to my older postings when I lived in Georgia and Moldova
